The reason for the difference is that each of these manufacturers use one set wheelbase, and the body must fit the wheelbase correctly in order to not interfere with the wheels. Do you want to fit other manufacturer's bodies on your Super Nitro RS4?It's very easy to do, all you need to do is pick the body that you want and move the body mounts at the front and rear of the chassis to match the body post holes already in the body. Tamiya bodies may require that you use the #1 piece from the #A411 parts tree (not used in the assembly manual). Tamiya bodies have a 300mm wheelbase, and Kyosho bodies have a 280mm wheelbase. Mounting a body from one of these companies may require that you change the wheelbase of your car - see page 8, step 3 and page 11, step 9 of your assembly manual for instructions on how to change and install the rear suspension. Page 16, step 22, tells you how to mount the rear shocks if you have to change the wheelbase of your car. The whole process only requires removing and reinstalling 10 screws, and doesn't take very long!
